Farm Secretary Terms of Service

These launch-ready baseline terms apply when you use the Farm Secretary farm-to-market sales workspace at /app, operated by Kamel Khatib LLC. They are written for clarity and are not presented as attorney-reviewed legal advice.

1) Use of the workspace

• You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, availability, quality, quantity, price, timing, and location information in your listings and offers.
• Farm Secretary prepares opportunities and draft actions, but you keep control of all final approvals.
• Keep account access secure, provide truthful business information, and use the service only for lawful commercial activity.

2) Marketplace responsibilities

• Deals become effective only when participants take the required human approval actions. No transaction is finalized automatically.
• You must verify product quality, delivery feasibility, and prices before accepting a trade.
• Pre-sell runs, recommendations, and draft offers must be reviewed before confirmation.
• Users arrange payment, pickup, shipping, delivery, inspection, taxes, permits, and insurance directly with each other.

3) Payments, delivery, and settlement records

Farm Secretary does not hold, transfer, process, or escrow user funds during this launch. Payment and delivery remain the responsibility of the producer, buyer, trader, or other participants. Settlement fields are tracking records and do not prove that payment or delivery occurred.

Any future platform fee must be disclosed before it applies. No fee language changes Farm Secretary into a bank, payment processor, carrier, warehouse, or escrow service.

4) Prohibited products and acceptable use

Do not list illegal, stolen, unsafe, counterfeit, sanctioned, recalled, misrepresented, or regulated products without every required authorization. Do not use the service for fraud, harassment, scraping, malware, spam, impersonation, market manipulation, or interference with another user.

We may pause listings, restrict features, or suspend accounts for abuse, fraud, repeated policy violations, credible safety reports, or illegal activity. Users may be asked to correct inaccurate information before marketplace activity resumes.

5) Cancellations and disputes

• Participants may reject or cancel offers as allowed by the displayed offer state and should communicate changes promptly.
• Participants remain responsible for resolving commercial, payment, quality, cancellation, and delivery disputes with each other.
• Farm Secretary may preserve audit records, receive reports, or restrict activity, but does not guarantee a refund, recovery, delivery, or dispute outcome.

6) Platform availability and limitations

The service is provided on an as-available basis. Features, matches, recommendations, external services, and uptime may change or be interrupted. To the extent allowed by law, Kamel Khatib LLC is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits, crop loss, spoilage, failed delivery, counterparty conduct, or decisions made from marketplace information.

7) Intellectual property

Users retain ownership of their listing content and grant Farm Secretary permission to display and process it to operate the service. Farm Secretary branding, interface, software, documentation, and proprietary matching or workflow methods remain the property of their respective owner and may not be copied or reverse engineered except as permitted by law.

8) Account closure

You may permanently delete your account from Account controls after confirmed, in-progress, or disputed trades are resolved. Deletion cannot be undone.
